Renewal of the existing partnership
"As a regionally active company, it is a matter of course for us to support regional clubs and institutions," says Carsten Südmersen, Managing Director of Mannheimer Parkhausbetriebe GmbH (MPB), explaining his company's intentions. As a result, the partnership between MPB and the association for the promotion of the Mannheim Gymnastics and Sports Society, which has already existed for several years, was renewed and made visible to the outside world. To mark the occasion, Rüdiger Harksen, MTG's Sports Director, met with the Managing Director of Parkhausbetriebe in the athletics stadium in front of MPB's new advertising board for the symbolic handover of the cheque. The agreement, which runs for five years, provides for annual support of €7,500. This amount, Harksen emphasized, will fully benefit the MTG Leichtathletik's competitive sports support association. He is all the more pleased about the long-term financial support from MPB. In addition to the banner in the stadium, the parking garage companies will in future also be represented in the neighboring athletics hall and in the gala magazine of the BAUHAUS Juniorengala, the world's largest athletics meeting for juniors.
